Welcome to Cook Vibes, operated by NovaVibes LLC ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By downloading, installing, accessing, or using the Cook Vibes mobile application (the "App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
Cook Vibes provides meal planning, recipe management, grocery shopping lists, nutrition tracking, and AI-powered kitchen assistance features. The App is provided strictly for personal, non-commercial use.
You must be at least 18 years old to use the App. By downloading, registering, or using the App, you represent and warrant that you are 18 years of age or older. We do not knowingly allow anyone under 18 to register or use the App. You must create an account to access certain features. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information.
7-Day Free Trial: The App offers a Premium subscription with a 7-day free trial. If you do not cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription automatically renews at $4.99/month (or applicable yearly rate). Billing & Cancellations: You can cancel at any time via your Apple App Store or Google Play Store account settings. No Refunds: All payments and subscriptions are handled directly by Apple or Google. No refunds are provided for partial billing periods.
You retain ownership of recipes, photos, and other content you create or upload in the App. By publishing content publicly or creating public collections, you grant NovaVibes LLC a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display and distribute it within the App. You are solely responsible for ensuring your content (including imported URLs and images) does not violate any laws or third-party intellectual property rights. Please review our Community Guidelines for the full rules that apply to user-generated content shared in the App.
Cook Vibes includes community features — public recipes, blog posts, comments, and direct messages. When you post or share content, you agree it will not contain or promote any of the following: (a) Hate speech, slurs, or discrimination based on race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, gender, sexual orientation, disability, or age; (b) Harassment, bullying, intimidation, or repeated unwanted contact toward another user; (c) Threats of violence or incitement to harm any person or group; (d) Sexual or explicit content, nudity, or pornography; (e) Impersonation of another person, or claiming a false identity or affiliation; (f) Spam, unsolicited advertising, or repetitive posting; (g) Content that is illegal, or that promotes illegal activity, including drugs, weapons, or terrorism; (h) Sharing another person’s private information without consent (doxxing); (i) Intentional misinformation or deceptive content; (j) Infringement of copyrights, trademarks, or other intellectual property rights. Violating these rules may result in content removal, shadow-queuing, account suspension, or permanent termination. The full enforcement policy is described in our Community Guidelines.
AI Assistance & Accuracy: The App utilizes artificial intelligence (AI) for recipe generation, receipt scanning, and nutrition estimates. AI can make mistakes. Do not rely solely on AI-generated content. Nutrition Disclaimer: Nutrition data is an estimate derived from third-party databases (e.g., Open Food Facts, USDA). It is not guaranteed to be accurate. Cook Vibes is not a substitute for professional medical or nutritional advice. Always consult a healthcare professional before making major dietary changes. Allergies & Food Safety: Users are solely responsible for verifying recipe accuracy, ingredient safety, expiration dates, cooking temperatures, and potential allergens. NovaVibes LLC is not liable for any food-borne illness, allergic reactions, or adverse health effects.
THE APP IS PROVIDED ON AN "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. NOVAVIBES LLC DOES NOT GUARANTEE THAT THE APP WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, ERROR-FREE, OR THAT RECIPES AND NUTRITION DATA ARE ACCURATE OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR DIETARY NEEDS.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, IN NO EVENT SHALL NOVAVIBES LLC, ITS OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, EMPLOYEES, OR AGENTS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, INJURY, PROPERTY DAMAGE, OR LOSS OF PROFITS ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS RELATING TO THE APP SHALL NOT EXCEED THE TOTAL AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US IN THE PAST TWELVE (12) MONTHS OR $50.00, WHICHEVER IS LESS.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless NovaVibes LLC from any claims, liabilities, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the App, your user-generated content, or your violation of these Terms.
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you violate these Terms or the Community Guidelines. You may delete your account at any time from the Settings page. We may update these Terms periodically, and continued use of the App constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
